My name is Bih Mary I am 18 years old I am from the northwest region and a native of Nghemba tribe. I live with my parents
they are not really financially fine but I thank God for them. My mom is not and educated person; she dropped out from school when she was in primary school due to financial issues. shedoes not have a job but I thank God for giving her power because she really works hard to make sure that we are fine. As for my dad, he too is trying all his best to put food on our table. He did not complete school. He left in secondary school. He is a painter now. We are five of us children in our family 2 boys and 3 girls, I’m the third born. I am also a mother. I had a girl child 2 years ago out of wet lock so she is actually 2 years old today.

I dropped out of school during my third year in secondary school that’s form 3 due to the beginning of the political crisis in the country so I decided to sit for the GCE ordinary level examination this year but did not make it. I had just 3 papers though I took it as a challenge to go and sit for that exam because I have not been to school for quite a long time but I believed in myself that if I go for it this year I will make it. But unfortunately I did not, I felt bad about it but it didn’t break me down because I know that I can do it. But never the less I still thank God for giving me the courage to go for that exams because friends advised me not too but I know that the down fall of a man is not the end of his life. Thanks you for giving me this opportunity to share my story with you and I also pray that may the Lord continue to keep us strong and healthy as we continue to live in his grace thank you.
